Cover design inspired by the time period of the novel, as well as each characters' deep connection to cloth.
The Beloved book tile was typeset in Baskerville Std, with custom ligature to represent the fixed bonds between Sethe (the mother), Denver and Beloved (Sethe's two daughters).
